This is mainly just a list for personal reference. I was getting annoyed with not being able to find fan fiction I loved in order to reread it, so compiled the links I could find of my favourites and am putting them all here so I can refer to them easily and quickly. At first I had this entry as private, but then thought, why not share my recommendations of brilliant fan fiction with everyone else? So, here are my complete and utter favourites:

New journal layout :3 because I updated from whatever it was, to whatever it is now xD. Informative, I know. But now it actually works and looks less like a sack'o'crap. So wewt.

Also, I have not posted here for how long? Like, last easter? Haha! Well I only really use LJ to stalk people anyway, nobody reads my journal or anything. But hopefully now I'm getting some dA friendies on here (mebbye). Aun-Juli (teh aweseomeness) has started using hers again, and that reminded me that I actually have a LJ account, and so I decided I should maybe sort it out.

Haven't posted on here for a while...wait a second while I hang my head in shame.

I've been really busy over the Christmas holiday with a load of stuff, mostly related to the enormous amount of revision that I have to do for my upcoming GCSE mocks. By upcoming I mean in three days. Not good. I keep trying to revise but it's just so boring! And I've just been doing biology, and haven't even got round to looking at anything else yet. And they start on monday...fun. Oh well if I manage to cram a year and a half's worth of information into my head in three days I'll be absolutely fine.


I had a great Christmas and finally got my first tablet pen! It's A5 and a Wacom. It's so much easier to use than my crappy mouse, so hopefully I'll get some decent art up in the near future. Actually I made a chibi with it yesterday/today, and I like how it turned out apart from the fact that it took me waaaay too long to make something that shouldnt have taken long at all. Oh well.

I just finished reading "The Devil Wears Prada" by Lauren Weisberger which I got for Christmas. It was actually such a good book, and I would reccomend it to anyone who feels like reading something. I never actually managed to see the movie, and didn't know much about it (I think reading the books before seeing the movies of whatever is better anyway come to think of it) but not the move isn't in cinema any more I want to see how it has been interpreted (butchered). I guess I'll have to wait until it's out on DVD.

Was a tad bored tonight so started drawing, eventually ended up with something that kind of resembles Ginny and Harry :P. I think it turned out quite well, although as I have no scanner so had to take a pic with my camera to upload it the quality isn't as good here as on paper (well that's my excuse anyway). But I'm quite pleased with it. (except maybe the hand).

I have got no work done...BUT...I made a new layout!

It is supposed to be kinda Snape themed...but yeah.

All of yesterday (saturday) I was doing Biology coursework, what fun. Today I was meant to be cramming for my mock GCSE french oral exam, which is tomorrow. I have to learn a minute long presentation. Instead, I kept myself occupied by making the cue card with the five permitted pictures on it to help with the presentation. I may have gone a bit far, as I coloured the pictures in, but nobody can deny now that it'll help me.

I just couldnt sit down this afternoon even though I have oh so much work to get done (most of which I'm going to have to try to rush in the next couple of hours). So instead I drew a little comic for all of those who actually look at this page (ie. nobody).

- I got the layout sorted, kind of cheated though and used a background from sherbet-lemon.net, but coded the rest. I'll get round to making one of my own some time, but right now I'm lazy, and have a whole bunch of school work.

- I'm still trying to figure out livejournal, looking for some Harry Potter fandoms! (well of course). I'm also interesting in finding some interesting fan fic to read or fan art to look at, so if anyone has anything to show off...

- Thought I'd take this random quiz I saw and yoinked from lunalovepotter whose journal I was randomly reading.

So, this is my first Journal entry, and I seriously doubt anyone is reading it, or is ever going to. Right now I'm a complete livejournal newbie and am struggling to make myself a decent layout, but hopefully I'll get somewhere sometime soon.

Once I have a layout, then I'll figure out what to put on there, but as I'm not too brilliant at multi tasking, I'll just concentrate on the layout for now. Although as I am a complete Harry Potter geek, I guess most of the stuff I put up on here will be fan fic/fan art related.

I should stop wasting time writing this then and get on with a layout. So check back soon for more updates.

P.S. My eye hurts a LOT as about two hours ago I got something really sharp (and small) stuck in it. It's still there no matter how hard I try to get whatever it is out. Yay, excruciating pain whenever I blink! Well now I know for sure that I wont get contact lenses however much my eyesight deteriorates. Ever get the feeling you want to claw your own eye out?
